The team at Patara Fine Thai contacted D-TECT looking for a security solution for their Berners Street restaurant. Patara Fine Thai is known for its contemporary cuisine and stylish relaxed restaurants. We were asked to complete an intruder alarm system and commercial CCTV installation project for the upmarket Thai restaurant. Our team was able to complete the project in line with the 10 week fit out programme, with CCTV security installation, installing full high definition IP CCTV with remote access along with a sophisticated intruder alarm monitored via DualCom. We gave the client peace of mind their fantastic restaurant was protected to the highest standards. The owners of Patara Fine Thai are based in Thailand and liked the fact that the remote access to the CCTV system we installed at the Berners Street branch enabled them to view the restaurant at the head office. They liked the remote CCTV system so much, they asked us to enrol the same system at the other branches.

At the New restaurant in Hampstead Heath North London, we visited the site and using our experience carefully installed a CCTV system that met their needs as well as the local licencing regulations. After the CCTV system was installed, we also worked on installing a monitored intruder alarm system. Right from the start, the main requirement was to fully protect the property and staff without taking away from the high-end look and finish of the restaurant, our team were able to achieve this by using bespoke colour-matched CCTV cameras and alarm movement sensors throughout the front of house. The team then visited the new Wimbledon branch and again provided CCTV systems throughout alongside a monitored intruder alarm system.

Pleased with the service and work we had provided, they asked us to visit their existing restaurants in South Kensington, Knightsbridge, Oxford Circus and Soho. The team used their expertise to upgrade the intruder alarm and CCTV systems at all other branches to ensure the restaurants are secure at all times. At the South Kensington and Knightsbridge restaurants, the team identified the need to also install monitoring alongside the CCTV systems.

All of the CCTV and intruder alarm systems were designed and installed to SSAIB standards and met all requirements set out by licensing and the clients insurance.

The end result is a fantastic mix of style and functionality and had the full approval of the client “Marc and the team were great from the start of the project right through to completion”. Since completing this project we have started work on the next new site for Patara in Hampstead North London.
