Upgrading To High Definition CCTV: Cuff Miller Case Study
Cuff Miller & Co: CCTV upgrade to High Definition
Ford Main Dealer and Esso Petrol Station
Cuff Miller, Littlehampton Road Worthing Cuff Miller approached D-TECT because their existing CCTV system was failing, multiple cameras had stopped functioning, those that did work had poor quality pictures and there was not adequate coverage of the site.
After an initial meeting, it was clear that due to the sheer number of high value new and used cars on-site and the constant customers visiting the petrol station the system would need to have complete coverage of the site with the ability to identify both vehicle number plates and unknown pedestrians.
D-TECT were able to design a system incorporating the existing cabling infrastructure as well as adding new Cat5 cables as necessary to allow the installation of TVI High Definition cameras whilst keeping within the customers budget.
The end result gives full coverage of the site with the ability to record vehicle number plates at every entrance/exit and whilst on the petrol forecourt. The CCTV system is networked meaning the Cuff Miller team can view and interrogate the system from their work stations and the management team have the added feature of remote access via a smart device.
After the successful completion of the CCTV upgrade project, the D-TECT team were asked to complete various other small works at Cuff Miller and have recently taken over the ongoing maintenance of the intruder alarm including monitoring with Police response, saving the customer money once again.
